Local LGBTQ+ Zine

Learn More About Zines
-
A zine (short for "magazine" or "fanzine") is a small, self-published work that typically focuses on niche topics. Zines are often created by individuals or small groups, and they are usually produced using low-cost methods such as photocopying, printing, or handcrafting. They can cover a wide range of subjects, from music and art to politics, personal stories, and activism.
Zines are known for their DIY (do-it-yourself) spirit and independent nature. They provide a platform for voices that might not find a place in mainstream media. Zines are also often distributed by hand, through mail, or at independent bookstores, zine fairs, or other alternative spaces.
Many zines are also highly creative in design, incorporating collage, drawings, and unique layouts to match the content's tone. It's a way for creators to express themselves without the constraints of commercial publishing.
-
Zines will be available at The Center to start. As they get distributed around the community, those places will be listed here!
-
All Zines in collaboration with The Center will be print only with limited copies.
