A cancer diagnosis has a profound effect on everyone– that includes the patient, caregiver, family and members of the patient’s community. Sexual orientation and gender identity are two of the many factors that influence one’s likelihood of being diagnosed with cancer. It can also impact how one responds to that diagnosis.
This group is open to all the community- LGBTQIA+ people and their allies. While we may talk about queer issues, all will be welcome.
We meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 6 to 7 p.m at The Center.
Join us for candid and confidential conversations.
